Sexual Assault Advocate
This job exists to coordinate and enhance services to sexual assault victims and survivors in Douglas County; provide continued education/training to schools, community organizations, law enforcement, human services, etc.; and continue to build positive working partnerships with community agencies.
Education and Experience Required: Have course work in Social Work, Human Services or related field and/or a minimum of one-year experience working with victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and/or child abuse.

Shelter Fill In Advocate
Job Description: Openings for Shelter Advocates for the Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse, Inc. (CASDA). Job duties include: providing advocacy and supportive services to domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse victims within the shelter program and via the 24-hour, toll free helpline. Must be flexible and willing to work all shift.
– Responsible to provide direct services, and documentation to all shelter clients and crisis line callers on weekends, holidays, and anytime full-time staff are unable to work due to sick time, personal days, or vacation. This job exists to ensure 24-hour care to shelter clients and crisis line callers.
- Responsible to provide facility maintenance on an as needed basis. This includes office cleaning and shelter facility cleaning duties.
- Responsible to attend monthly shelter staff meetings, to sign up for the number of shifts assigned to me by the Director of Program Services, and to complete any additional tasks assigned by the Director of Program Services and/or the Executive Director.

Education and Experience:
Course work or experience in human services related field and/or experience working with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse.
Skills:
Ability to build positive relationships, adaptability, good communication skills, conflict resolution skills, good time management, personal and professional experience.
Salary: $16.50/hr
